Our History

All communication is locally nuanced, and PR is perhaps the most nuanced of all disciplines. Founded in 2009, SERMO is a global network of independent communications agencies, built on the belief you need to have established roots within a market in order to truly understand its local culture. Therefore, each of our partners are owner-managed and locally founded agencies.
It is a network based on relationships and shared values rather than ownership. So, whilst we don’t share P&Ls or parent companies, we do share values, friendships and attitudes
We also share a considerable number of clients.  You’ll also see that we have two M&C Saatchi partners in our network. Along with M&C SAATCHI TALK, they are part of the wider M&C Saatchi Group network – another valuable connection that empowers SERMO and what we do.
